Hi I'm Neil, I set up Sawbridgeworth Flatpack as a natural extension of my existing handyman business after years of customers asking if I could help with assembling their furniture. The demand was consistently high, and time and again people told me how difficult it was to find a reliable, skilled flatpack installer they could trust to do the job properly.

I realised there was a real gap for a service that was not only efficient and professional, but also dependable and customer-focused. Sawbridgeworth Flatpack was created to meet that need, giving customers peace of mind that their furniture will be assembled correctly, safely, and without the usual hassle

For many years, I worked as a structural engineer, solving complex problems and honing my expertise in construction and design. Over time, however, I became disillusioned with the endless bureaucracy and meetings that kept me from the hands-on work I truly enjoyed.

Renovation has always been a passion of mine—I’ve personally renovated several houses, combining creativity with practical problem-solving. Still, leaving the security of a long-standing career was a big decision.

In the end, I chose to follow my passion and start a handyman and flat packing business. This allows me to share my knowledge, apply my problem-solving abilities, and focus on work that I genuinely care about.  I’m dedicated to helping you have a beautiful home and time to enjoy it.
